Welcome to the Hawks Nest Tea Gardens Progress Association

​​The role of the HNTGPA Incorporated is to work together for the benefit of the Myall Coast community and the environment and to:

1. Present a unified voice to Local Authorities regarding the improvement and development of the region.

2. Promote the welfare, wellbeing and interests of the people of Tea Gardens, Hawks Nest and surrounds, including the development of policy(s) relative to the achievement of the objectives of the Association.

3. Examine the impact of proposed development and make submissions to relevant Government bodies, paying attention to the balance between the sustainability of the existing town atmosphere, local economic viability and the provision of town services to residents.

4. Promote projects which enhance the region for the benefit of residents and local businesses.

5. Promote and preserve the scenic beauty and amenity of the region.

6. Offer comment and opinion to Council on behalf of local residents on matters of importance to the community.

7. Keep residents informed in relation to important Government development policies and strategies.

8. Form a conduit between the people of the area and the State Government, MidCoast Council and any other relevant bodies.

9. Foster an active interest in the civic, commercial and social welfare of the area.

10. Support local organisations and projects including fund raising efforts.
